Business challenge

After Leasing department was established, new need for special software solution for Leasing appeared. The main functional requirement was ability to integrate financial accounting and full cycle of leasing process, starting from contract preparation and ending with contracts expire or termination.

Solution description

ColumbusLeasing is specialized add-on for leasing and financial services companies based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV. The solution is created for leasing activities management and integrated with NAV financial accounting. The add-on supports full business cycle from contract offer to it’s ending procedures.
In this implementation, standard ColumbusLeasing solution has been adopted to fit special business requirements of LHV Leasing.

Project results

Based on the experience and in comparison with other specialized software solutions for leasing, the main strength of ColumbusLeasing is integration to NAV financial accounting platform. Due to it, this solution is very good tool for leasing business management.
Integrated and smoothly working solution ColumbusLeasing helped to achieve great business result: with only 5 employees, LHV Leasing is one of the TOP 6 leasing companies in Estonia.

Project key success factor

One of the key success factors of every ERP project is - teams on customer and solution provider sides.

Leasing department started working in March, 2012. First version of the new specialized software was implemented in the beginning of June, and already in the middle of June first leasing contracts were signed and registered in the new system. Such result could be achieved only by close cooperation of customer and solution provider teams and high competence level on both sides.
